Dr. Don Costlow 

 Dr. Don Costlow received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1985.  He is a 1990 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  During his studies in veterinary school, he was inducted into the Phi Zeta Organization for academic excellence.  From May 1991 to June 1997, Dr. Costlow was the Chief Veterinarian at an animal emergency and critical care facility outside of Cleveland, Ohio.  He appeared regularly on FOX Television’s “Good Day Cleveland”, where he presented various topics on pet healthcare. Dr. Costlow took over as President of Newton Veterinary Hospital in July of 1997 and founded the Animal Emergency Hospital of NJ in 2002.  He was President of the NWNJVMS in 2004 and an active member of AVMA and AAHA.  He is currently a member of Newton Rotary (Past President 2008-2009; member since 1997) and:

Dr. Vanessa Moore Dr. Moore

Dr. Vanessa Moore grew up in Clifton, NJ.  She attended Cook College at Rutgers State University where she majored in Pre-Veterinary Science.  She was involved in many different activities and clubs including the Rutgers University Equestrian Team in which she competed and led as the Captain.  Dr. Moore attended veterinary school at the Ohio State University where she graduated at the top of her class.  She then went on to complete an internship in Canada at a busy equine referral surgical facility. She worked as a successful equine veterinarian in Hunterdon County, NJ for 10 years. During this time she trained in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs.  In 2013 she began working in small animal practices and has been enjoying it ever since.  When not working, Dr. Moore spends time with her husband, their two small children, and her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Logan.

Amy W.Amy W.

Amy has assisted clients as a Client Service Representative for the Budd Lake Animal Hospital since their grand opening in September 2011 and is now Budd Lake's Office Manager.  She has been working with animals for a number of years and enjoys learning new things about animal care and the ever changing world of veterinary medicine.

When Amy is not working she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her fiancée and their rambunctious two young daugters. Amy has a lazy dog named Gibson and a very handsome cat named Rascal Kitty.  She also enjoys baking, crafting, and painting.

 Kaity O.Kaity O

Kaity became our Client Service Representative when she joined our Budd Lake team in April 2016 and has loved every minute since. With an extensive backround in customer service and a true love of animals, it is the perfect fit for her.

In Kaity's free time she enjoys being with her husband and two cats, Yami and Dinah.

Ashley B.Ashley B

Ashley joined Budd Lake Animal Hospital as a Client Service Representative and is now part of Budd Lake's Veterinary Technician team.  Ashley graduated from the University of Vermont majoring in Art Education but has always been a huge animal lover. Growing up she wanted to become a veterinarian and is so excited to be working with animals and learning new things every day.

When Ashley is not working she enjoys painting, practicing yoga, long walks on the beach, and crafting with friends. She also enjoys taking hikes with her Karelian Bear Dog, named Bandit.

Gabby R.Gabby R.

Gabby joined our Veterinary Technician team at Budd Lake Animal Hospital in May after she had worked at our Berkley Heights location for just about a year. Gabby's love for animals has made her excel at patient care and general treatments of beloved pets. Her experience and expertise with felines has made her our Budd Lake cat whisperer.

When Gabby is not working she enjoys spending time with her four fabulous cats, Silas, Mac, Charlie, and Mr. Stewie Winkler. She also enjoys the outdoors often hiking with friends, and considers herself an avid decorator around her home and especially around the holidays.

Carrie L. Carrie

Carrie has been a valued team member with both Newton Veterinary Hospital as an experienced technician since 2007 and a detailed pet groomer for Budd Lake Animal Hospital since 2012. She definitely learned her grooming skills from the best; teaching her all the necessary skills and tricks to become the awesome stylist she is today. Carrie’s love for animals exceeds into her technician position as an ICU pet nurse and assisting doctors in surgery. Through grooming, Carrie feels the most joy when she sees how the pets look before and after.

When Carrie is not working, she loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband and three outgoing young children. She also enjoys trail riding her Arabian horse, Beau, and playing with her two Australian Shepherds, Kaiden and Maverick.
